This is one of the best commentaries on the Psalms I ever read. The language is very
simple, but the truth is deep. The approach of the author is different from the other
authors, and very easy to grasp the teaching.

Just started looking at this on-screen version, and thought "I am sure I have seen something very similar before".

Sure enough, on my bookshelf I re-discovered a later hardback edition of this book (1979), still with dust cover, which has 376 pages. The Roman Numerals (of earlier editions) have been replaced with "normal" numbers for the Psalms.

I came across it two or three years ago in a Book Aid charity shop, which at that time was only selling Christian literature, and paid the grand sum of £2.50!

Books like this need to be used and treasured, as we read the Psalms (and other Scriptures) with open hearts and minds, and seek a blessing - not only for ourselves, but also for those we are able to share with.

Regards,

Steve H
