514 Saviour, round these emblems blessed

1. SAVIOUR, round these emblems blessèd,
      Here we gather to Thy name;
   We remember Thy blest Person,
      All Thy suffering, death and shame.
2. We recall Thy grace in coming,
      From Thy Father’s side above,
   To this scene of sin and darkness,
      To make known His perfect love.
3. In Thy blessèd Holy Person,
      God and man in one unite;
   All the fulness of the Godhead
      Manifested to our sight.
4. We remember all Thy pathway
      Of delight and joy to God;
   Bringing glory ever to Him,
      Perfect was Thy way, O Lord.
5. With these emblems thus before us,
      We recall Thy death of shame;
   Yet remember all the glory
      That it brought to Thy blest name.
