W. Totter joined an ecclesiastical organisation that was governed by man's constitution, rules and regulations, albeit supposedly Christian. I do not see how this man, greatly used of God, could expect anything less than the vociferous defence of "the Conference" of his opponents. Trotter's appeal to Scripture and anything remotely touching the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, flew over the heads of his accusers. Is it not the same in the camp of religiosity today? - "come out from among them and be separate."
