While not agreeing with everything stated in the address contained in this document, since set within the “open” position, nevertheless it shows how far “brethren” generally have departed from their original exercise. The so-called “Needed Truth” doctrine has penetrated throughout the “open” meetings, many of those who did not go with the “separation” still having spread that ecclesiology.

Similarly, among some “exclusives” was a pretentious claim of having “new light” leading them into error regarding the sonship of Christ, and which many even now from that fragmented party are not prepared to re-examine, others indifferent to it.

Among some, the claim now being made is that the Lord’s table is found only where all relevant conditions are in place, imagining that they meet them all.

How we have failed to hold fast!
