It is so hard to find truth and depth these days.

Let me extract one sentence from page 40 of the above document: 'The "Gifts" and the Lord's Supper ceased at the close of Acts 28; we search in vain for the faintest allusion to the ordinance in the epistles written after Acts 28.' This might be a quotation from a book written by Charles H. Welch as stated earlier on page 39, but does the author of this document agree with him? I get the impression that he does.

If so, the document was written in support of "ultra-dispensationalism" so-called, and will indeed make it hard to find the truth.

The best way to find truth and depth is to read the Scriptures.

Read, study and meditate, and meet with others to discuss things in a positive way - then all will be blessed.

At our Monday evening home group, where there are only a few of us (six this evening) we are currently looking at the book of Job - not an easy book to study, but we have been blessed, and tonight we completed chapter 19, which includes the really positive declaration from Job:-

"I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at the end He will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes - I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!"

Regards,
