The Coming of the Lord Jesus and the Great Tribulation
Pioneer Preaching, or, Work Well Done: The story of one who in journeying oft carried the Gospel throughout the length and breadth of Great Britain.
David J. MacLeod
In some old notes of mine I have W. H. Clare's dates as 1886–1982. Emmaus Bible College has a pamphlet, "Christ's Second Coming: At any Moment or Certain Events First," A Report of a Conference in London, January 3rd & 4th, 1953. The first address was delivered by W. H. Clare, "Why I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ might come at any time," pp. 7–12.
I also found a note by N. M. Bond, "Reports of Gospel Work and Other Assembly Activities," in Precious Seed 4:5 (Nov. 1951), 160. The notes suggests that W. H. Clare helped pave the way for Gospel preaching on the B.B.C. in the 1950s.
