The Editor was possibly William James Martin (1900-88), brother of the publisher Sydney Robert Martin (1902-89). Both are listed at that address in the 1939 Register, though the latter is incorrectly spelled there as 'Sidney'. SRM married Catharine Boyd in 1941 and thereafter lived in Tunbridge Wells.
