I raised a query a little more than a year ago concerning Esther Ethelin Enock (1874-1947) at https://www.brethrenarchive.org/bookshelf/biographies/twelve-persons-series-pi/2-twelve-mighty-missionaries/ . I have since discovered the Enock family web-site [http://enockfamilyhistory.co.uk ] and corresponded with the web-master Adam Enock. Apparently EEE's father, Arthur Henry (1839-1917), was brought up as a Quaker in the Birmingham area where in turn he lived with his family and worked as a 'Manager for a Brazilian Merchant'. By 1891 he had moved to Devon where he was described as a 'landscape artist', and in 1892 (aged 53) was baptized as an Anglican in Kingswear, Brixham. However he was buried in the Friends' burial ground in Stoke Newington. Apparently his daughters Ethel and Dora were later attached to Tiverton Baptist Church, though Dora had a Christian themed novel published by John Ritchie and Ethel was evidently in touch with Henry Pickering.
