Beloved Sister,

How delighted & rejoiced I was with your brother's tidings this morning. I almost jumped for joy. All your troubles over – and a little girl!! I know you are very happy – and do thank the Lord for His goodness to you & your dear husband & family. Now this child has been born on my birthday which quite pleases me. Can’t you poke in the name Emily somewhere among her names in remembrance of me?

Your loving Sister

Emily Kelly.
