This particular book has attracted special criticism of AC Gaebelein as being (by the special definitions of the XXI century) "anti-Semitic". If there were a statue of Gaebelein anywhere, it might now be in danger of demolition...

In Christendom, going back to Augustine, an anti-Israel sentiment has prevailed to this modern day. Gaebelein simply provides verifiable historical evidence to prove the Jews' involvement throughout history - hardly an anti-semitic theme. Few know how anti-Jew Luther was as his writings show.
Perhaps Gaebelein's "The Jewish Question" may help to give the biblical perspective to some on this people, chosen of God, but now set aside for a season.
