Thanks for spotting that Jonathan, and the two interesting local newspaper reports I've added! Seems DLH's father was not among the Brethren then, so he and his sister's must have come through their own choices.

I notice in that cricket game he played in, Gentlemen of Buckinghamshire vs Gentlemen of Warrickshire; DLH sadly was out for a duck, but on the opposing team was a John Earle Reynolds Raven .. wonder if any relation of FER or just a coincidence!
