The CBA catalogue (in Manchester) gives the author of 'Baptism — what is it?' as Thomas Mulock (?JBM's father) It also has listed a Memoir of JBM with extracts from his letters entitled 'Whose Faith follow' (Leamington:1886). I'd be interested to know how these men were related to Thomas Samuel Mulock (1789-1869, an extraordinarily colourful preacher whose sermons caused riots in Oxford in the 1820s) whose father was Robert Mulock of Bath and whose grandfather was Thomas Mulock of Kilnagarna, co. Westmeath. His daughter Dinah Maria Mulock [Mrs Craik] was the novelist who wrote 'John Halifax Gentleman'. Timothy Stunt
