Extracts from "Field and Work" 1918 Relating to the Spanish Flu Epidemic

Our friend Greg has collected some extracts from the Field and Work periodical 1918 which describe how the believers were affected by the Spanish Flu outbreak of the time.

If anyone is able to contribute other references to how Brethren 100 years ago reacted to a situation rather like the one we are facing today, I'm sure it would be of interest to all.

Here is a link to the file, and a few of the passages I've pasted below.

Does anyone else have further accounts of how brethren adapted to conditions during the Spanish flu outbreak? I see in the above that there was a lot of meeting in homes rather than halls.

I like how conspiracy theorists believe government is acting so radically today. Seems it is the same back here too. Good!
